BOOKMAKER AND CASINO REVIEWLicence and terms checked 17 October 2026No operator or licence published

22bet is a combined sportsbook and online casino with pre-match and live betting, a casino, live casino, bingo and TV games under one account. We found no recognised licence: the site publishes no operating company, no registration number, no address and no gambling licence, and the footer carries only a copyright line in the brand name. The main strength is range: the site says it offers more than 1,000 events every day with over 30 market types per event, and it lists a long menu of payment methods including crypto. The main weakness is transparency: there is nothing on the site that tells you who runs it or who supervises it, and the terms, bonus rules and payment limits did not load for us. 22bet does not hold a South African provincial licence and is not licensed to take bets from people in South Africa.

Licence and safety

We read the 22bet homepage, its About page, its Contacts page and the footer shown on every page. None of them names a legal entity, a company registration number, a registered address, a gambling regulator or a licence number. The About page refers only to “22bet Betting Company”, and the footer says the brand’s rights are reserved for 2017 to 2026, which is a copyright range rather than a confirmed launch date. The terms and conditions page loaded only its navigation for us, so if the operator details sit in the terms we could not see them.

Because nothing is published, there is no licence for us to check on any register. That matters in practice: without a named operator and regulator you have no clear route to escalate a complaint beyond the brand itself. The contacts page gives a complaints email and a separate security email for identity documents, which suggests identity checks are part of the process before withdrawals.

A news search for regulator action returned an investigative article from the Curacao Chronicle about the offshore company structure behind 22bet and a link to a Curacao licence. We did not find a fine or licence action from a national regulator naming 22bet in our search, and we have not relied on that article for any fact in this review.

Sports and markets

The About page states that the sportsbook covers more than 1,000 events every day and averages over 30 market types per event. Sports named there include football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, cricket, snooker, curling and Formula 1. The site menu has pre-match and live betting, plus statistics and results sections. We did not see cash out, live streaming or a bet builder described on the pages we could read, so we have not credited those features.

Casino and other games

Alongside the sportsbook the menu lists slots, table games, live casino, jackpots, 22Games, bingo and TV games. The site does not give a game count or a list of studios on the pages we read, and we did not find published RTP figures. 22bet does not publish an odds margin either, so compare prices with another bookmaker before you bet.

Welcome offer and the real terms

The homepage shows two different welcome headlines. A comparison table on the page says “100% Bonus up to 300 EUR + 100 Free Spins”, while the page description says the bonus is up to 122 in dollars or euros. The rules page did not load for us, so we could not read the wagering multiple, minimum odds, minimum deposit, expiry or excluded payment methods.

Deposit 100 EUR at 100% = 100 EUR bonus = 200 EUR balance

In plain numbers, a 100% match doubles a qualifying deposit up to the cap. What it is worth depends on the rollover. As an example only, if a sports bonus had to be turned over 5 times, a 100 EUR bonus would need 500 EUR of qualifying bets; if the rollover counted deposit plus bonus at 5 times, it would be 1,000 EUR. We could not confirm which, if either, applies to 22bet. Do not opt in until you can read the multiple, the minimum odds and the time limit in your own account.

Payments and withdrawals

The homepage lists Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Neteller, Skrill, Paysafecard, ecoPayz, PayPal, bank wire, MoneyGram, direct deposit, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin, and says the options vary by country. The mobile page shows only card logos. We found no published minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal, fees, limits or processing times. The contacts page says identity and anti-money-laundering documents go to the security department by email, so expect a verification step before your first withdrawal.

Mobile

The mobile page invites users to download the 22bet APK for Android and describes the app as available for Android and iOS. It does not link to the Google Play or Apple App Store, and we found no direct download link in the page text. Installing an APK from outside an app store means turning off a phone safety setting, so weigh that before doing it. A mobile browser version is also offered.

Support

The contacts page lists separate email addresses for technical support, security and documents, privacy, and queries and suggestions, and a phone number, +357 99 816806, which is a Cyprus number. No live chat or opening hours are listed on that page, and the homepage says support options may vary by country. Social channels on Telegram, X and Instagram are linked.

Responsible gambling tools

The site carries an 18+ marker and a Responsible Gambling link in the footer, but that page did not load any body text for us, so we cannot say which tools, if any, are offered. Because 22bet names no regulator, there is no national self-exclusion scheme connected to it.

How we reviewed 22bet

On 17 October 2026 we read the 22bet homepage and footer, the About page, the Contacts page and the mobile app page. The terms and conditions page and the responsible gambling page returned only navigation and footer text to our checks, and we have marked everything we could not read. We ran a news search for regulator action. We did not open an account, deposit or place bets. Sources: 22bet homepage, 22bet About, 22bet Contacts, 22bet mobile page, 22bet rules.
