The next PSL fixtures are on Tuesday 13 October 2026, when Durban City host AmaZulu at Chatsworth Stadium and Richards Bay host Mamelodi Sundowns at Princess Magogo Stadium, both at 17:30 SAST. Those two matches restart the Betway Premiership after the three week FIFA international break. The first full weekend round follows on Saturday 17 October, headed by Kaizer Chiefs against Stellenbosch at the FNB Stadium, and the Soweto derby is on Saturday 31 October at Orlando Stadium.

The picks in the right hand column are the ones we have already published on our club pages, reproduced here unchanged rather than re-cut for this page. Where a round is still too far out for us to price, the column says so instead of inventing a number.

Sources and method. Every fixture above appears on both the SuperSport Betway Premiership fixture list and the ESPN South African Premiership feed, checked on 27 September 2026, and the two agree on date, kick-off time and venue for all 23 matches. Kick-off times are South African time as SuperSport lists them. The ESPN feed labels the identical clock values as UTC, and the two cannot both be correct, so we publish the SAST reading and tell you that is a choice. Times this far ahead move for broadcast, so treat them as scheduled and not final. Two venues carry sponsor names that differ between sources: Orlando Stadium is listed by SuperSport as the Orlando Amstel Arena, and Free State Stadium as the Free State Toyota Stadium. They are the same grounds. One further round is on the SuperSport list only, Friday 27 November, Durban City against Polokwane City and Stellenbosch against TS Galaxy, both 17:30, and it is left out of the table above until a second source carries it.
Which clubs have the hardest fixtures: our opponent difficulty index
A fixture list on its own does not tell you who has the hard month. This table does. For every club we took the next three league fixtures from the verified list above, looked up each opponent points per game from the current log, and averaged them. A high number means a hard run of opponents. It is the same points per game column we use when we set a confidence figure, so the index is built from the league own results and not from reputation.

The index is the mean points per game of a club next three league opponents, where points per game is that opponent current points divided by its games played. Mamelodi Sundowns and Milford FC have only two league fixtures inside the confirmed window, so their index averages two opponents rather than three. Sundowns are missing from the 31 October and 4 November rounds because of their CAF Champions League tie. Log positions and points per game come from the table we verified on 25 September 2026 and re-checked on 27 September against the ESPN standings feed, where nothing has changed because the league is on its break.
Kaizer Chiefs have the hardest run in the league, by a distance
Chiefs draw an index of 2.10, and the gap to second place is larger than the gap between second and tenth. Their next three are Stellenbosch at home, Orlando Pirates away in the Soweto derby and AmaZulu at home, which is the second, third and seventh placed clubs on points per game in one three match block. Chiefs are unbeaten on 13 points and are still fourth, because four of their seven matches have been drawn. A club that already converts draws at that rate walking into the two hardest tests on its calendar is why our pick on Chiefs against Stellenbosch on 17 October is only 52 percent, and why our derby pick on 31 October is Orlando Pirates at 58 percent rather than Chiefs.
At the other end, Polokwane City have the softest run at 0.62, facing Siwelele away and then Kruger United and TS Galaxy, three of the four lowest scoring sides in the league. Polokwane sit eleventh on seven points with four of their seven drawn. If a mid table club is going to move up the log during October, the fixture list says it is them. Orlando Pirates, top of the league on points per game, have an index of only 1.05 despite the derby being in that block, because TS Galaxy and Siwelele are two of the weakest opponents available.
Durban City are the club to be careful with. They sit tenth, they have drawn four of seven, and their next three are AmaZulu, Mamelodi Sundowns away and TS Galaxy away for an index of 1.88, the second hardest in the league. That is the run that decides whether they spend the season in mid table or in the relegation conversation.

Across every competition we cover our published record is 79 wins and 55 losses from 134 graded picks, 59 percent. Our Betway Premiership column is the worst of the lot: 6 wins and 7 losses from 13 graded picks, 46 percent. Both figures were re-verified against the live pick log on our home page on 27 September 2026.

A 46 percent league column is a losing column and we leave it on the page, because the reason for it is the single most useful thing we can tell you about betting on this league. Twenty three of the 57 Betway Premiership matches played this season have finished level, a draw rate of 40.4 percent. A prediction that names a winner loses when the match is drawn, and two matches in five here are. In the Champions League, where our column reads 80 percent, roughly one in five ends level. Our picks are not four times worse in South Africa. The competition is four times harder to call, and any site that quotes you one sitewide accuracy figure without splitting it by league is hiding exactly that from you.
That is also why four of the ten picks on this page sit under 55 percent. When our figure is below 50, we are telling you the named side is the single most likely winner and that a draw is more likely still than either team winning. Golden Arrows against Milford at 44 percent is the clearest example: Arrows have drawn five of their seven matches.
How to read our figures. Strong means 70 percent and above, and that band is running at 19 wins and 3 losses. Good means 55 to 69. A close call is under 55 percent and is us saying the match is near a coin toss. We never publish a pick for a fixture kicking off within the hour, we grade every pick against the official result, and we never remove a pick that lost.
