PSL Fixtures 2026-27: Betway Premiership Dates, Times and Our Predictions

PSL fixtures: Betway Premiership, October and November 2026

Sixteen league fixtures are confirmed between 13 October and 1 November. The picks in the right-hand column are the ones we have already published, reproduced here unchanged. Where we have not published a pick yet, the column says so instead of inventing a number.

Sources and method. Dates and venues match on the SuperSport Betway Premiership fixture list and Soccerway, both checked on 6 October 2026. The two moves to 13 October are also confirmed by Kaizer Chiefs for their game. SuperSport lists kick-offs in UTC, so we add two hours for South African time; Kaizer Chiefs’ 19:30 announcement and our own AmaZulu v Golden Arrows preview (18:00) agree with that conversion. Times this far ahead can still move for broadcast, so treat them as scheduled rather than final. Orlando Stadium appears on SuperSport as the Orlando Amstel Arena; it is the same ground. Some outlets have reported the Soweto Derby at FNB Stadium, but the official fixture list shows Orlando Stadium.

Postponed: the Wednesday 4 November round

All seven matches of the 4 November midweek round now show as postponed on the official fixture list, with no new dates yet. We will add them back with their new dates once the PSL confirms them.

Status from the SuperSport Betway Premiership fixture list on 6 October 2026. One later round is listed by SuperSport only, on Friday 27 November: Durban City v Polokwane City and Stellenbosch v TS Galaxy, both 19:30 SAST. It stays out of the main table until a second source carries it.

Which clubs have the hardest fixtures: our opponent difficulty index

A fixture list on its own does not tell you who has the hard month. This table does. For every club we took its confirmed league fixtures up to 1 November, looked up each opponent’s points per game from the current log, and averaged them. A high number means a hard run. With the 4 November round postponed, every club has exactly two confirmed fixtures in this window, so the comparison is like for like.

The index is the mean points per game of a club’s next two league opponents, where points per game is that opponent’s points divided by games played. Log positions and points come from the SuperSport Betway Premiership table, rechecked on 6 October 2026 against the PSL’s own log; nothing has changed since 20 September because of the international break.

Durban City now have the hardest run in the league

The postponement changed the order at the top. Durban City draw an index of 2.39: AmaZulu at home on Tuesday, then Mamelodi Sundowns away, the third- and first-placed sides on points per game. They sit tenth with four draws from seven, and these two games decide whether they spend October in mid-table or in the relegation conversation.

Kaizer Chiefs drop to second at 2.00, but their run is still brutal: Stellenbosch at home, then the Soweto Derby away. Chiefs are unbeaten and fourth, yet four of their seven games have been drawn, and a club that draws at that rate going into its two hardest tests is why our Stellenbosch pick is only 52 percent and our Derby pick is Orlando Pirates at 58 percent. Chiefs also play two CAF Confederation Cup legs against Red Arrows between those league games.

At the other end, Polokwane City and Siwelele share the softest run at 0.64. Polokwane face Siwelele away and TS Galaxy at home, and if a mid-table club is going to climb in October, the fixture list says it is them. Orlando Pirates have an index of only 1.36 despite the Derby, because TS Galaxy are one of the weakest sides in the league, and log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns have the third-softest run at 0.71.

Our record on Betway Premiership picks, including the losses

Across every competition we cover our published record is 109 wins and 77 losses from 186 graded picks, 59 percent. Our Betway Premiership column is the worst of the lot: 6 wins and 7 losses from 13 graded picks, 46 percent, unchanged because no league games have been played since 20 September. Both figures were rechecked against the live pick log on our home page on 6 October 2026.

A 46 percent league column is a losing column, and we leave it on the page because the reason for it is the most useful thing we can tell you about betting on this league. Twenty-three of the 57 Betway Premiership matches played this season have finished level, a draw rate of 40.4 percent. A prediction that names a winner loses when the match is drawn, and two matches in five here are. Across everything we cover, 42 of our 77 losses were draws. Our picks are not worse in South Africa; the league is simply harder to call, and any site that quotes you one sitewide accuracy figure without splitting it by league is hiding exactly that. That is also why four of the eleven picks on this page sit under 55 percent. When our figure is below 50, we are telling you the named side is the single most likely winner, but only just, and that a draw is very much live. Golden Arrows against Milford at 44 percent is the clearest example: Arrows have drawn five of their seven matches.
