Betinia is an online casino and sportsbook run by Maltix Limited of Malta, under Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/486/2018, which we confirmed on the MGA’s own register. Its footer also states an Irish Revenue licence, number 1020269, for sports betting by Irish residents. The main strength is a strong regulatory base with clear deposit rules, 24/7 live chat and a solid set of limit tools. The main weakness is that the full bonus terms were not readable, so the welcome offers cannot be valued properly. Betinia does not hold a South African provincial licence and is not licensed to take bets from people in South Africa.

Licence and safety
We looked Betinia up on the Malta Gaming Authority’s verification page. Maltix Limited holds B2C gaming service licence MGA/B2C/486/2018 with the status “Licensed”, and the register lists www.betinia.com alongside three sister domains, tooniebet.com, winota.com and campobet.com. The Betinia footer says the MGA licence is valid through 12 December 2028; the register page we read did not show dates, so that expiry is the operator’s own statement.
The footer also gives an Irish Revenue Commissioners licence, number 1020269, covering sports betting by Irish residents. We did not check that number on Revenue’s list. The footer carries eCOGRA and Soft2Bet badges, the latter being the platform provider. We found no news of fines or licence action against Betinia or Maltix Limited in the last two years.
MGA licensing gives players a proper complaints route and requires segregated player funds, which is a real step up from many offshore licences. It is not a substitute for a licence in your own country where one is required.
Games and providers
The casino says it carries thousands of slots but does not give an exact count. Named studios include Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Microgaming and Hacksaw Gaming, and the live casino has its own section, including live poker style tables. We did not see published RTP figures. Betinia also adds gamified features: Colossus, Cities, tournaments, weekly challenges, achievements and VIP levels.
Sports and markets
The sportsbook menu shows football, tennis, ice hockey, basketball, table tennis and volleyball, and live betting has its own section. We did not see a total number of sports, live sports streaming, cash out or a bet builder confirmed on the pages we read, so we have not credited them.
Welcome offers and the real terms
Betinia’s promotions page lists three headline offers:
- Sports first deposit bonus: 100% up to €100
- Casino welcome bonus: 100% up to €500 plus 200 free spins
- Weekend reload bonus: €700 plus 50 free spins
A 100 percent match doubles your qualifying deposit up to the cap: €200 becomes €400, and a €500 deposit reaches the €500 maximum. The full terms links were not readable in our check, so we could not see the wagering multiple, whether it applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus, the minimum odds on the sports bonus, the maximum bet or the expiry. Those details decide whether the bonus is worth anything. Read them on the offer page and skip the bonus if the wagering is above what you would play anyway.
Payments and withdrawals
The payments page lists Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap, Neteller and Jeton, each with a €10 minimum and €5,000 maximum deposit, credited instantly. The footer also shows Visa, Mastercard and Diners Club logos. Betinia’s FAQ says e-wallet withdrawals are often instant, while card and bank transfers typically take 1 to 3 business days. The payments page shows only euro, and we did not see crypto or a minimum withdrawal.
Mobile
Betinia’s FAQ says no app is required: the site is built to run in mobile browsers on iOS and Android.
Support
Live chat and email at [email protected] are both stated as available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Responsible gambling tools
The responsible gaming page lists deposit limits, loss limits, session time reminders, cooling off periods and self-exclusion. The footer links to GambleAware and to the Responsible Gaming Foundation in Malta, and the site is 18+ only.
Who can use Betinia
The site is offered in English, Finnish, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, French and Croatian, which points to its European focus, and the Irish Revenue licence covers Irish sports bettors. We did not find a restricted country list on the pages we read. We did not see a UK licence, so British players should use a UK licensed operator instead. Check the terms for your own country before you register.
