10bet is an international betting brand, and this review covers its South African site, 10bet.co.za, run by Edcobrite (Pty) Ltd. The site footer states that Edcobrite is licensed and regulated by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, one of South Africa’s provincial gambling boards. The main strength is a product built for South African bettors: PSL and Currie Cup markets, live betting, Bet Builder, a casino with more than 20 named studios, and local payment options such as Ozow, 1Voucher, OTT and Pay@. The main weakness is that the bonus terms and full rules load only with scripts, so we could not check the wagering on the R5 000 welcome bonus. 10bet does accept players in South Africa through 10bet.co.za, under its Mpumalanga licence.

Licence and safety
In South Africa, online betting is licensed province by province, not nationally. The 10bet.co.za footer says Edcobrite (Pty) Ltd is licensed and regulated by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, and that all products are fixed odds betting markets offered by a licensed bookmaker. That last line matters: South African bookmaker licences cover betting on events, so casino style games on licensed sites are offered as fixed odds bets on the outcome.
We tried to confirm the licence on the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator website, but it returned a bot check page and we could not read its list of licensees. So the licence is operator-stated in this review. The site does not print a licence number, which we would like to see.
Business Day reported in August 2026 that 10bet entered South Africa in 2022, treats the country as a long term hub for African growth, and holds a five year naming deal for 10bet Ellis Park. The same report covered industry wide issues such as a proposed 20 percent online gambling tax and possible advertising limits, not any action against 10bet. We found no fines or licence actions against the South African business in the last two years. A UK Gambling Commission settlement involving 10bet in February 2023 is older than our two year window and concerned a different market.
Sports and markets
The homepage leads with soccer, including the Betway Premiership (PSL), rugby including the Currie Cup, cricket, tennis and basketball, with horse racing in the main menu. Live betting has its own section. Bet Builder is promoted as a newer feature that lets you combine and boost selections on a single match. We did not see live streaming or a sportsbook cash out feature mentioned on the pages we read, so we have not counted them.
Casino games and providers
The casino and live casino carry games from a long list of named studios: Pragmatic Play, EGT Digital, Nolimit City, Smartsoft, Booming Games, Hacksaw, Red Tiger, 3 Oaks, Yggdrasil, NetEnt, Netgaming, Elbet, Evolution, BetGames, Spribe, Blueprint, Funky Games, Tom Horn, WiXX, Apollo, Aardvark and BetSoft. The site does not state a total game count or publish RTP figures on the pages we read. Crash games such as Skyward Deluxe are promoted with a cash out feature built into the game.
Welcome offer and the real terms
The homepage advertises a 100% bonus up to R5 000 for new players, with Ts and Cs applying and 18+ only. The promotions page and the terms load only with scripts, so we could not read the minimum deposit, minimum odds, wagering requirement or expiry. Some third party sites quote a different amount, which is one more reason to check the live terms yourself.
In plain numbers: a 100% match means the bonus equals your qualifying deposit, up to the cap. A R1 000 deposit adds R1 000 in bonus funds; a R5 000 deposit adds the maximum R5 000. The value depends entirely on the wagering rule. If, for example, the bonus had to be wagered 5 times at minimum odds, a R1 000 bonus would need R5 000 of qualifying bets before it could be withdrawn. Find the real multiple in the promotion terms before you opt in.
Payments and withdrawals
10bet.co.za lists Visa, Mastercard, Ozow instant EFT, WalletDoc, 1Voucher, OTT vouchers, Pay@ and crypto for deposits and withdrawals, with balances in rand. That is a strong local mix: voucher and instant EFT options let you deposit without a card. We could not read a minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal, payout times or withdrawal limits on the pages that loaded. South African licensed bookmakers must verify your identity under FICA rules before you withdraw, so have your ID and proof of address ready.
Mobile
10bet offers an iOS app on the Apple App Store, an app on Huawei AppGallery, and an Android app file downloaded directly from its site. Only install Android apps from the operator’s own site, never from a third party link.
Support
The homepage FAQ says support is available through live chat, email and phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contact page with the phone number and email address did not load for us.
Responsible gambling tools
The site is 18+ only and links to a responsible gambling page. We could not read the specific account tools on offer, such as deposit limits or self-exclusion, so we scored this area cautiously. South African licensed operators must support self-exclusion and display the National Responsible Gambling Programme helpline.
Who can use 10bet
10bet.co.za is for players located in South Africa. The 10bet brand has also operated in other countries, including the UK and Ghana, under separate licences that we did not check for this review. If you are outside South Africa, use the 10bet site licensed for your own country, if one exists, and check that its licence is shown in the footer.

South Africa
Yes. 10bet’s South African site states that it is licensed by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, a provincial gambling board, so it can legally take bets from people in South Africa. We could not open the regulator’s register to confirm the licence number on the day we checked. Before you deposit, look for the licence statement in the site footer, and compare 10bet with the other operators on our list of licensed South African betting sites.
How we reviewed 10bet
On 15 October 2026 we read the 10bet.co.za homepage, footer, FAQ and promotions banner, tried the promotions, terms and contact pages, which did not render without scripts, and tried the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator website, which returned a bot check. We also read Business Day’s August 2026 report on 10bet in South Africa. We did not open an account, deposit or place bets. Sources: 10bet South Africa and Mpumalanga Economic Regulator.
