PlayOJO is an online casino with slots, live dealer tables and jackpots, known for marketing its free spins with no wagering requirements. It is run by Skill On Net Limited. The company’s UK Gambling Commission licence, account 39326, lists playojo.com as an active domain, which we confirmed on the commission’s register, and the international site states a Malta Gaming Authority licence, MGA/CRP/171/2009/01. The main strengths are a large named game library, payouts usually within a few hours and one of the fullest sets of limit tools we have seen. The main weakness is that its full terms, including the welcome offer details and restricted countries, did not load for us. PlayOJO does not hold a South African provincial licence and is not licensed to take bets from people in South Africa.

Licence and safety
The international site’s footer names Skill On Net Limited as the operator and states MGA licence MGA/CRP/171/2009/01, issued on 1 August 2018. The MGA’s online register needs a browser to run, so we could not confirm that entry. We did confirm Skill On Net Limited on the UK Gambling Commission’s public register, account 39326, with a remote casino licence active since November 2014 and bingo since February 2020; playojo.com and playojo.co.uk are listed as its active domains and PlayOJO as an active trading name. The commission’s record gives a Cyprus head office, while the site gives a Malta address.
On the regulatory record, Skill On Net agreed a £305,150 settlement with the UK Gambling Commission in May 2023 over anti-money laundering and safer gambling failures. In April 2024 the Danish Gambling Authority ordered it to fix its money laundering risk assessment and controls and issued two reprimands, without a fine. In November 2025 Sweden’s regulator reprimanded it over missing responsible gaming tools on another of its brands, Prime Casino. We found no ownership changes for 2024 to 2026.
Games and providers
PlayOJO names a long list of studios on its homepage and slots pages, including Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Playtech, Play’n GO, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil, ELK Studios, Blueprint, IGT, Light and Wonder, Games Global and Wazdan. The live casino covers roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, Casino Hold’em, craps, sic bo and game shows such as Dream Catcher and Monopoly Live, from Evolution, Authentic Gaming and Pragmatic Play. There is no sportsbook. RTP figures are not shown on the pages we read; check each game’s paytable before you play.
Welcome offer and the real terms
The international site offers up to 50 free spins on your first deposit, and its live casino page says the spins come with no wagering requirements and that wins from bonuses are not capped. PlayOJO’s reward policy describes the same no wagering approach. That is genuinely different from most casinos: whatever the spins win is real money you can withdraw. The full offer terms did not load for us, so we could not confirm the eligible game, the value of each spin, the qualifying deposit, the expiry or any excluded payment methods.
Here is what that means in practice. With a 30x or 35x bonus elsewhere, you often have to play several thousand in turnover, and the expected cost can exceed the bonus. With no wagering, the spins are a straight extra: if they win, the money is yours. The trade-off is size. Fifty spins at a typical low stake are worth a few units of currency, so treat them as a small extra, not a reason to deposit more than you planned.
Payments and withdrawals
The international site shows a minimum deposit of $10, a minimum withdrawal of $0 and sends you to the cashier for maximums. Logged out, only Visa and Mastercard are shown, and the site says availability depends on your country. PlayOJO states that it processes most payments within a few hours and that account verification usually takes under 12 hours, with support to contact if there is no answer within 48 hours. Fees are not published on the pages we read.
Mobile
PlayOJO has apps for Android and iOS, linked from its help page, and the site can also be added to a phone’s home screen from the browser.
Support
Support is by email at [email protected] and by live chat once logged in, with the team stated as working 24/7. A phone line is mentioned in a page description, but no number is published.
Responsible gambling tools
This is PlayOJO’s strongest area. Its tools page lists a game status reminder every 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, a time limit control, game history, daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits (lowered at once, raised after 24 hours), cooling off for 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days, temporary suspension for 30, 60 or 90 days, self-exclusion that can extend to other accounts on the same licence, and a self-assessment test. It points to Gambling Therapy, Gamban and other support and blocking services.

PlayOJO does not hold a licence from any South African provincial gambling board, and online casino games are not licensed in South Africa. Its site lists country versions for the UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and several Nordic countries, but none for South Africa. PlayOJO is not licensed to take bets from people in South Africa, and South African readers should use a provincially licensed bookmaker. See our list of licensed South African betting sites.
How we reviewed PlayOJO
On 17 October 2026 we read the PlayOJO international homepage and footer, its banking, help, live casino, slots, rewards, apps and responsible gaming pages, and Skill On Net Limited’s entries on the UK Gambling Commission register, including its domain names, trading names and the 2023 regulatory action. We read trade press on the Danish and Swedish cases. The terms and conditions, reward policy text and promotions pages did not load, and the MGA register could not be queried. We did not open an account, deposit or play. Sources: UKGC register entry, PlayOJO banking and PlayOJO safer gambling tools.
