BOOKMAKER AND CASINO REVIEWLicence and terms checked 17 October 2026Offers priced in euros

FunBet is a combined sportsbook and online casino at funbet.com, with pre-match and live betting, virtual sports, slots, jackpots, table games and a live casino. No operator company and no gambling licence are published on its homepage, footer or terms and conditions, so we could not identify any regulator, recognised or offshore, that oversees it. Its main strength is a wide product range backed by detailed bonus and withdrawal rules in the terms. Its main weakness is that you cannot tell which company you would be dealing with or where to take a complaint. South Africa does not appear on the excluded country list in its terms, but FunBet does not hold a South African provincial licence and is not licensed to take bets from people in South Africa.

Licence and safety

The FunBet footer says only: “Gambling can be addictive. Play responsibly. FunBet.com only accepts customers over 18 years of age.” It gives no company name, registration number, address, licence number or regulator logo. The terms and conditions refer throughout to “the Company” without naming it, and the disputes clause says complaints are settled “in accordance with the applicable Law” without naming which country’s law applies. A footer link labelled Partners points to affina.com, but the site does not explain that relationship.

This matters more than any bonus. Without a named operator or licence there is no regulator you can complain to, no independent dispute service, and no outside check that games are fair or that player money is held separately. We are not saying FunBet is unsafe; we are saying the information you would need to judge that is not published. A news search found no regulator warning or enforcement report naming FunBet.

Sports and markets

The sports menu lists football, tennis, table tennis, basketball, ice hockey, American football and baseball, and the homepage also names volleyball, rugby, esports and public voting events. Live betting and virtual sports have their own sections. FunBet does not publish a total number of sports or markets.

The sports rules in the terms set a minimum bet of €1, with maximum bets varying by sport. They state that a bet cannot be cancelled or changed once confirmed, with cash out as the exception, and that winnings are credited only after the official result. The sports promotions page also lists a bet builder offer, a weekly reload of 50% up to €600, a 10% cashback up to €500, an accumulator boost and a “2 goals ahead” early payout offer. We did not open the individual promotion pages, so their conditions are not covered here.

Casino games and providers

The casino is split into slots, jackpots, table games, live games and instant games, with themed lists such as Megaways, bonus buys and a provider of the week. The live casino covers roulette, blackjack, baccarat and dice, poker and game shows. The homepage speaks of “thousands of slots” and “hundreds of” table games but gives no exact count and names no providers on the page we read. The terms include country restrictions for NetEnt games, which indicates NetEnt titles are offered. We found no RTP figures published on the pages we checked.

Welcome offer and the real terms

Two headline offers are shown: a sports first deposit bonus of 100% up to €100, and a casino welcome bonus of 275% up to €2,700 plus 330 free spins. The homepage does not say how the casino package is split across deposits. The general bonus rules in section 7 of the terms are detailed, and strict:

  • Casino deposit bonuses must be wagered 35 times the deposit plus the bonus.
  • The most you can withdraw from a casino deposit bonus is 10 times the bonus amount.
  • Casino bonuses expire after 10 days and sports bonuses after 30 days; unmet wagering voids the bonus and its winnings.
  • No single bet may exceed €100 while wagering is unfinished.
  • Most slots count 100%, live games and video poker 10%, and table and card games 0%. Jackpot slots cannot be played with bonus funds.
  • No-deposit casino bonuses must be wagered 40 times the bonus, with withdrawals capped at 5 times the bonus.
(€100 deposit + €100 bonus) x 35 = €7,000 in bets

In plain numbers: if a deposit of €100 is matched with €100, you must place €7,000 of bets within 10 days before any of it can be withdrawn. On slots that is the full €7,000. On live casino games, which count only 10%, it would take €70,000 of bets, and table games do not count at all. Even if you finish the wagering, the most you can cash out from that bonus is €1,000. The sports bonus wagering multiple and minimum odds were not on the pages we read, so check the promotion page before opting in.

Payments and withdrawals

The payments page refused our automated check and the homepage shows no payment logos, so we cannot list deposit methods, minimum deposits, currencies or whether rand or crypto are accepted. The terms do set out the withdrawal rules:

  • Withdrawal limits depend on VIP level. In euros, level 1 allows €500 a day and €7,000 a month; level 5 allows €1,500 a day and €20,000 a month.
  • Withdrawals are processed within 3 business days, with up to 3 pending requests at once.
  • Each deposit must be wagered at least once. If not, winnings may be cancelled and a 10% fee kept (minimum €0.50), or 15% for card or bank transfer deposits.
  • Identity documents must be sent within 30 days of a request, and checks usually take 10 days once complete. Checks can include calls and face verification.
  • After 180 days without a login the account becomes inactive and a €5 monthly fee applies, or the whole balance if it is under €5.

Mobile

There is no app. FunBet says the site runs in the mobile browser on iOS and Android, and it offers a page explaining how to add a home screen shortcut.

Support

FunBet states that a multilingual team is available 24/7 by live chat and email, and it has a help centre. We did not test response times.

Responsible gambling tools

The footer carries an 18+ notice and an addiction warning, and links to a responsible gaming page that we did not read. No deposit limits, time outs or self-exclusion tools are named on the homepage. Because no regulator is named, any self-exclusion would apply to FunBet alone and would not be linked to a national scheme.

  • Bonus wagering, game weighting and withdrawal limits are written out in the terms
  • Live chat and email support stated as 24/7
  • Bet builder, cashback and accumulator boost promotions on the sports side

Cons

  • Not licensed by a recognised regulator: no operator company or licence is published on the site, footer or terms, and it is not licensed to take bets from South Africa

  • Casino bonus wagering of 35 times deposit plus bonus with a 10 day limit
  • Fees of 10% or 15% if a deposit is withdrawn without being wagered once
  • €5 monthly fee on accounts inactive for 180 days

South Africa

FunBet does not hold a licence from any South African provincial gambling board, and its terms do not name a licence from anywhere else. It is not licensed to take bets from people in South Africa, and South African readers should use a provincially licensed bookmaker instead. See our list of licensed South African betting sites.

How we reviewed FunBet

On 17 October 2026 we read the FunBet homepage and footer, the full terms and conditions, and the sports promotions page. The payments page refused automated access, and we did not read the individual promotion pages or the responsible gaming page. We ran a news search for regulator warnings and found none naming FunBet. We did not open an account, deposit or place bets.
