Kaizer Chiefs Fixtures 2026-27: Dates, Kick-off Times and Our Predictions

Kaizer Chiefs fixtures 2026-27Dates, venues and kick-off times verified 1 October 2026Our public record: 98W-70L, 58% over 168 graded picks

The next Kaizer Chiefs fixture is at home to Stellenbosch at FNB Stadium on Saturday 17 October 2026, 15:30 South African time. After that come the Soweto derby away to Orlando Pirates on Saturday 31 October at 15:30, and AmaZulu at FNB Stadium on Wednesday 4 November at 19:30. Chiefs are fourth in the Betway Premiership on 13 points from seven games and are still unbeaten. Our published picks on those three matches are Chiefs at 52 percent, Orlando Pirates at 58 percent and Chiefs at 44 percent, and every one of them is graded in public afterwards, win or lose.

Every confirmed Kaizer Chiefs fixture

All times below are South African Standard Time. The first three rows are carried by the SuperSport league list, the official Betway Premiership club page and our own fixture board, all checked on 1 October 2026. The last three rows are carried by the official league club page only, so we flag them as single source until a second list picks them up.

Date Kick-off SAST Fixture Home or away Venue Our published pick Sources carrying it
Sat 17 Oct 2026 15:30 Kaizer Chiefs v Stellenbosch Home FNB Stadium, Johannesburg Kaizer Chiefs 52% close call Three
Sat 31 Oct 2026 15:30 Orlando Pirates v Kaizer Chiefs Away Orlando Stadium, Soweto Orlando Pirates 58% good Three
Wed 4 Nov 2026 19:30 Kaizer Chiefs v AmaZulu Home FNB Stadium, Johannesburg Kaizer Chiefs 44% close call Three
Sat 28 Nov 2026 15:30 Chippa United v Kaizer Chiefs Away Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Gqeberha Published nearer the round One
Sat 5 Dec 2026 20:15 Milford v Kaizer Chiefs Away Richards Bay Stadium Published nearer the round One
Tue 15 Dec 2026 19:30 Kaizer Chiefs v TS Galaxy Home Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg Published nearer the round One

We do not invent a confidence figure for a fixture that is seven weeks away. The three rows marked for a later round will get a number when the clubs have played the matches in between, because a pick made on a stale league table is a pick made on the wrong information. The three we have published are reproduced here exactly as they appear on the Betway Premiership fixtures hub and on the match previews, so no two pages on this site carry different numbers for the same game.

The two hour clock problem, and why our times differ from one fixture list

This is the single most useful thing on this page. The widely used SuperSport league list publishes Betway Premiership kick-off times with no timezone label, and those bare numbers are two hours behind the times the league and the clubs publish. We checked both on 1 October 2026 for all three confirmed Chiefs fixtures and the offset is exactly two hours every time, which means the SuperSport clock is UTC and not South African time.

Fixture SuperSport list, unlabelled Official league club page, SAST Difference What this site publishes
Kaizer Chiefs v Stellenbosch, 17 Oct 13:30 15:30 Plus two hours 15:30 SAST
Orlando Pirates v Kaizer Chiefs, 31 Oct 13:30 15:30 Plus two hours 15:30 SAST
Kaizer Chiefs v AmaZulu, 4 Nov 17:30 19:30 Plus two hours 19:30 SAST

If you have turned up two hours early for a Chiefs match this season, that is almost certainly why. Take the SAST column. Broadcast schedules can still move a kick-off, so we re-check every fixture on this page on each update and date-stamp the strip at the top.

How hard is the run?

Points per game is the cleanest single measure of an opponent on a seven game sample, because it does not care whether a club has played seven matches or eight. Here is every confirmed Chiefs opponent, with the points per game each has taken in the Betway Premiership so far, computed from the league table as it stood on 1 October 2026.

Date Opponent Venue for Chiefs Opponent record Opponent points per game
17 Oct Stellenbosch Home 9 pts from 7 1.29
31 Oct Orlando Pirates Away 19 pts from 7 2.71
4 Nov AmaZulu Home 16 pts from 7 2.29
28 Nov Chippa United Away 8 pts from 7 1.14
5 Dec Milford Away 12 pts from 8 1.50
15 Dec TS Galaxy Home 6 pts from 7 0.86
Mean across all six 1.63

The mean of the next three alone is 2.10 points per game, which is the hardest next three of any club in the division. Two of the three are the sides directly above Chiefs in the table and the third is the derby. The run then softens sharply: the mean of the last three on this list is 1.17. In other words the fourth place Chiefs hold at the start of October will be tested almost entirely in the next nineteen days.

Chiefs face the hardest next three in the division at 2.10 points per game

Rest days between fixtures

One line that the standard fixture list does not give you. The gap between the derby and the AmaZulu match is four days, the tightest turnaround on the Chiefs calendar before Christmas, and it comes immediately after the hardest fixture on it.

Between Gap Fixtures
17 Oct to 31 Oct 14 days Stellenbosch then Orlando Pirates
31 Oct to 4 Nov 4 days Orlando Pirates then AmaZulu
4 Nov to 28 Nov 24 days AmaZulu then Chippa United
28 Nov to 5 Dec 7 days Chippa United then Milford
5 Dec to 15 Dec 10 days Milford then TS Galaxy

Our record, including the losses

The reason to read a prediction page is whether the predictions are any good, so here is ours, read off the public log on 1 October 2026. We publish every pick with its result attached and we do not quietly drop the ones that went wrong.

Where Record Graded picks Hit rate
All competitions 98 wins, 70 losses 168 58%
Strong band, 70% and above 23 wins, 4 losses 27 85%
Betway Premiership 6 wins, 7 losses 13 46%

The Betway Premiership line is the honest problem. It is our weakest league by some distance, and the reason is the draw: our rules score a draw as a loss whenever the pick said the match would not be one, and this division draws 40.4 percent of its matches. Chiefs are the sharpest example of that, which is covered in full on the Kaizer Chiefs results page.

The honest versionA 52 percent pick on Chiefs against Stellenbosch is barely a lean. It means we expect the home win a little more often than everything else put together, and we expect to be wrong roughly five times in ten. The specific way it loses is a draw, which Chiefs have produced in four of seven league games this season. We publish the number anyway rather than dressing a coin flip up as a tip.
