Sport Predictions is free to read. Some links to bookmakers are commercial links, and if you open an account through one we may receive a commission from that bookmaker. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not affect what we write. This page explains exactly how that works and what we refuse to do.
What a commercial link is
A commercial link, also called an affiliate link, is a tracked link. If you click it and later register an account, the bookmaker can attribute that account to us and may pay us a share of their revenue or a fixed fee. You pay the same price, get the same bonus and have the same rights as anyone who typed the address in directly.
Where a link on this site is commercial, the page it sits on carries a visible disclosure at the top. We do not hide these links inside body text and hope you miss them.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Licensed South African operators only. We do not promote bookmakers that lack a South African provincial gambling board licence, regardless of what they pay. If a dispute arises with an unlicensed operator, South African law gives you no protection, and no commission is worth exposing a reader to that.
- Commission never affects a rating. Ratings and rankings are set before commercial terms are discussed, and an operator paying more does not move up.
- No unverified bonus figures. We only publish welcome offer terms we have seen on the operator’s own promotions page. Where we have not verified something, the review says so.
- We publish the bad parts. Every bookmaker review includes what we could not confirm and what we think is wrong with the offer. Our Betway review argues its welcome bonus is hard to clear, and we still carry a link to Betway.
- No accounts for under-18s. Nothing on this site is aimed at anyone under 18, and no bookmaker link should ever be followed by a minor.
Our predictions are not sold, and not sponsored
No bookmaker pays for a prediction, influences a pick, or sees the board before it is published. The predictions and the commercial links are produced separately, and a pick has never been changed to suit a commercial partner.

If you believe something on this site is inaccurate, including a bonus term that has changed, tell us and we will correct it. Accuracy is the only asset this site has.
